Sonar Location
Sonar location has many benefits in the drainage industry.
Gone are the days off guessing the location of a collapsed
drain, carrying out an excavation and hoping you will find
the pipe.
By inserting a sonde/transmitter down a drain, a sonar
signal is received above ground by a hand-held receiver
device, enabling us to obtain an accurate location and depth
reading of the pipe. Sonar location allows you to
determine the position of hidden manholes, collapsed
pipes and map out entire drain runs from start to
finish. Sonar location can also be used to find buried
utility services.
